A couple weeks ago, we sent out a survey asking how you're using AI, what's working, and what you want more of from this newsletter.
About 20 of you responded (thank you), and the results were clarifying. You're not here for AI hype. You're here to get better at using it.
So today, I'm sharing what you told us and what we're doing about it.
What you told us
1. You're already proficient and want to stay ahead
Average AI proficiency across respondents: 6.8 out of 10. Median was an 8.
This isn't a beginner audience. You're experienced operators using AI confidently, and you want to keep sharpening your edge.
2. You're focused on leverage, not novelty
When asked why you use AI, the dominant answer was efficiency and productivity. Phrases like "critical efficiency improvements" and "make my life easier" showed up repeatedly.
You're not here to play with shiny new tools. You're using AI to save time, scale output, and make better decisions. That matters for how I think about what to build and share.
3. You want to learn by doing
When asked what content you want more of, the top two responses were how-to videos and agent-building consultations (tied at 8 people each).
This community wants to apply AI hands-on—not just read about it.
4. You want to hear from other GTM leaders
One of you wrote: "3-5 min interview with GTM leaders to highlight one specific AI use case they are actually using" Such a great idea!
What we're building next
Based on that, here's what's coming:
Tool walkthroughs I'll create short, tactical how-tos showing you how to set up and use specific AI tools for GTM use cases. But I need your help: what tools do you want to try but haven't yet?
Reply to this email with 1-2 tools you want to master, and I'll prioritize those.
GTM leader stories I want to highlight real projects and experiments from people in this community. If you've built something cool or have a GTM AI story worth sharing, reply to this email and let me know.
