๐ŸŽง The 5 Creators I Can't Stop Learning From

Welcome back to The Agent GTM Newsletter where we share actionable tips, free AI tools, and market insights every Friday.

โ€‹

Hey there,

Rob here again.

Quick change up from our usual GTM breakdowns this month. Instead, I want to share the podcasts and creators that keep showing up in my weekly rotation โ€” the ones I actually listen to on repeat.

As Head of Marketing at Compound Planning (and co-founder of IndustryGTM on the side), I'm always hunting for people doing interesting stuff with GTM, AI, and growth.

Here are five I keep coming back to:

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Greg Isenberg's The Startup Ideas Podcastโ€‹

Greg interviews founders and explores micro-SaaS ideas, community-led businesses, and unconventional startup plays.

โ†’ Why I love it: Greg gives you a little bit of everything. He'll go deep on how his team is using Gemini, Nano Banana, or n8n or some tool I've never heard of.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Sam Parr & Shaan Puri's My First Millionโ€‹

Sam entrepreneurs dissecting business ideas, sharing frameworks, and talking about wealth-building.

โ†’ Why I love it: They interview entrepreneurs from completely different worlds and I steal ideas constantly. What works in one industry usually works in another. You just have to connect the dots.

๐Ÿ“Š Kipp Bodnar & Kieran Flanagan's Marketing Against the Grainโ€‹

HubSpot's CMO and SVP of Marketing break down what's working in B2B marketing right now โ€” AI, attribution, demand gen, and all the stuff keeping marketers up at night.

โ†’ Why I love it: When Google or OpenAI drops something new, these guys are already testing and sharing how theyโ€™re using it at Hubspot.

๐ŸŽฌ Riley Brown's YouTube Channelโ€‹

Riley breaks down vibe coding, AI tools, automation, and AI agents โ€” basically the five categories of GTM tech that are changing how we work. He makes advanced stuff feel accessible and shows you how to actually use it.

โ†’ Why I love it: Riley takes tools that seem complicated and makes them simple enough that I can actually build something in an afternoon. His whole thing is "make it accessible so anyone can create and launch" โ€” and that's exactly what I need as a solo marketer trying to move fast.

๐Ÿค– Nate Herk's AI Automation YouTube Channelโ€‹

Nate is probably less well known than all of the above creators but he gets super tactical with the videos he creates about building AI automations and workflows.

โ†’ Why I love it: I'm the only full-time marketer at Compound, so automation isn't optional for me. Nate shows you step-by-step tutorials that I can follow along with and build exactly what heโ€™s building, then iterate on it to apply it to my business.

The Common Thread

They're all operators first. Building real businesses, running real teams, sharing what works.

That's what Shaalin and I are trying to do with the AgentGTM Newsletter โ€” less theory, more "here's what we did this week and here's what happened."

Anyway, if you've got creators I should be listening to, hit reply. Always looking to add to the rotation.
