Many of you found me through the Buyer Persona Builder (fka ICP builder) on agent.ai — it’s been used over 17,000 times now, which still blows my mind.

If you’re not familiar: it’s a free agent that takes the names of your buyers and builds out a detailed buyer persona. It gives you a detailed description of your buyers, what messaging would appeal to them, and where to find them digitally.

But here’s the thing: I haven’t made a major update to it in a while.

And in that time, I’ve gotten feedback from my users. Some of it from you directly, some from watching how people use it.

So before I go build more, I want to ask: what would actually make this more useful for you? Here are a few directions I’m considering:

1. Go beyond the persona and provide actual leads. This is the #1 request I get. The persona is great, but people are using the persona to find more buyers, so what if we could get them closer to that end goal. What if the builder could take that persona and actually surface real companies or people who match it?

2. Let me test my marketing on the persona. Imagine you build your buyer persona, then drop in a landing page, an ad, or a cold email and get feedback on how well it would land with that specific person. Like a focus group of one, available whenever you need it. You could save your persona and keep coming back to pressure-test new product ideas or marketing messaging against it.

3. Target companies, not just people. Right now the builder focuses on the human buyer — their pain, their language, their behavior. Most users are selling B2B, and I see a lot of people input company names rather than human names. So what if you could analyze the companies to find patterns too.

4. Better output formats. Maybe you don’t need a full persona doc — maybe you need a one-pager, a deck to train the sales team, or something that can directly go into a Claude Skill. Different jobs need different deliverables. Imagine a drop down that allowed you to output into a format you could use immediately with your team.
