Unlock AI Mastery with Building Blocks

Welcome back to The Agent GTM Newsletter where we share actionable tips, free AI tools, and market insights every Friday.

Hey there,

Many of us are getting good at making AI do specific things well, or actually the way we want them done, after enough tweaking that we’d defend the output. And the moment you’ve nailed a flow like that, something useful becomes possible: you can codify it. Lock it in. Stop re-solving the same problem every time you sit down.

There are a lot of ways to codify a capability. I think of it building-block style: you turn the thing you’ve nailed into an agent, and then you build the next thing on top of it. That’s really all “agent orchestration” or “agents calling agents” means. It sounds fancier than it is.

Easiest to show with something I actually did.

A while back I built a Buyer Persona Builder. It got popular, which was nice — but the more important thing is what it represented a codified capability. Generating a sharp, specific buyer persona is now a solved problem for me. I’m not figuring it out fresh each time. I nailed it once (after an embarrassing amount of tweaking) and locked it in.

Once a capability is codified, it stops being the destination and turns into a foundation. The question changes. It’s no longer “how do I make a good persona?” It’s “okay, I’ve got the persona handled — now what do I actually want to do with it?”

First thing I wanted: to know whether my website copy actually speaks to that buyer. So I built the Web Copy Analyzer on top of the persona builder. It calls the persona generation internally — you never touch that step, it’s baked in — and then reads your website's copy against that specific buyer. Where it lands, where it talks right past them. I tweaked that one for a while too, and now the copy part feels genuinely solid. Another capability, codified. One level up.

I’ve got the buyer down and the copy down — what’s next? For me it’s this: I don’t just want to know if the copy is right, I want to rethink how the page actually looks for that buyer, and see it in action rather than read notes about it.

That’s the next block I’m building — a Website Re-imaginer that sits on top of the persona and the copy analysis and redesigns your web page for your target buyer. The next rung up the same staircase. More on it when it’s ready.

It’s the same move you make with subagents in Claude Code — a bigger job composed of smaller pieces you’ve each nailed and locked in. You codify a capability, and it becomes a block the next capability can stand on. Do that a few times and you’ve built something none of the individual pieces could do alone.

Thanks,

Shaalin
