Today, I want to show you an agent that I've built for my own workflow (and you'll see the output at the end of the email) + a tool I created to make the agent building process easier and more transparent.
First, I built my own workflow builder. I can build agents for myself and others, simply by dragging and dropping and filling in details in this editor, and it'll write the agent code for Claude's Agent SDK. I save that code to my computer, and the agent's ready to go. Here's a screenshot of a real agent I built.
Workflow for an Agent that drafts my product updates
I save all my work to Github, so this agent grabs all my work for the week, screens it to see what might be relevant to my newsletter readers, then proposes a writeup that I can comment on. Once I provide feedback, it takes it and creates a draft in Kit (the platform I use to write this newsletter).
It's not perfect, but it'll get better with time, because it learns from my edits each week.
It saves me some time, but here's the real reason I built this. I recently obtained Claude's Certified Architect - Foundations certification, so that I can build agents that hold up in real companies, not just for me, so I'm working on building my own agent building tools.
Now, let's see what my agent drafted below (which got a pretty heavy edit from me this time).
Updates to the products I'm building

New home screen - I got feedback that the home screen was cluttered, so I simplified it, and even created accordions on the left hand side bar, so you see less text upon first logging in.
Case Studies - It now surfaces a relevant, external case study to inspire you. I'm sourcing from the best 3rd party sources (podcasts, popular Reddit threads, and more to source these)
Agent Studio - the workflow builder I use to design and compile these agents
Every field that shapes the compiled agent — done-when conditions, inputs, outputs, approver, schedule — now has an editor on the canvas. Before this week those required a JSON export to change.
